Pupil Premium

Introduction: What is Pupil Premium?

Schools receive a payment, or Pupil Premium, for each child who is registered for free school meals (or have ever been in the last six years - referred to as 'Ever 6' FSM) or those who have been in continuous care for six months or more, or who are post adoption (post LAC). There is also a payment for some children of service personnel (The Service Premium). These payments are made to schools in order to address any inequalities there may be between these pupils and their peers.
